Avis Ilene Sutton, age 83, of Marshall, IL passed away at 3:29 PM on October 18, 2018 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born on November 18, 1934 in Martinsville, IL to Robert Andrew and Iliff Irene (Felkamp) Malcom. She married Russell “Bud” Sutton on October 12, 1952 in Paris, IL and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2014. She was retired from Home healthcare and had also worked at Coil Sales and Zenith. Avis is survived by her Children Candace (Bill) Dailey of Redmon, IL., Dale (Judy) Sutton of Marshall, IL., Chris (Ed) Trover of St. Berniece, IN., Jerry (Margaret) Sutton of Marshall, IL., Cheryl Sutton of Marshall, IL., Jim (Lesa) Sutton of Marshall, IL., Katie Sutton of Marshall, IL., Twenty Two Grand children Kelly (Jamil Winston), Michael Pine, David (Brandy) Pine, Emily (Bill) Yates, Jacob (Sarah) Sutton, Cody (Sara) Sutton, Natasha (Kelvin) Feliciano, Cameron Sutton, Heather (Matt) Simpson, Brandy (Josh) Santos, Savannah (Brendon) Bartnick, Josie Sutton, Dylan (McKenzie) Sutton, Misty Sutton, Jeremy Sutton, Robert Dooley, Brittany (Chris) Lawson, DJ Smallwood, Jordan Perisho, Andrew Beason, Jessie Sutton and Amber Sutton. 42 Great Grand Children and one Great Great Grandchild, Two Sisters Sharon (Harold) Smith, and Shirley (John) Slusser, Sister in law Norma Darnell, Brother in Law Paul (Joyce) Sutton, brother in law Harold (Phyllis) Sutton, sister in law Kaye Garver She was preceded in death by two sons Anthony Sutton and Robert Sutton, one grand son Jason Sutton one infant sister Patricia, a brother Richard and her parents. She was a member of Oliver United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, and Bunco Club Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday October 23, 2018 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall, IL with Rev. Joe Irwin Officiating. Burial will follow in the Vermillion Cemetery in Edgar county IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the Pearce Funeral Home.
