Barbara Hurt, 77, of Marshall, IL passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2024 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN. She was born Jan. 29, 1947 at Paris, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Fern Hurt who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Henry Hovey of Charleston, IL and three sisters, Becky Davidson and Brenda Clatfelter both of Marshall and Beverly Strange of Maryville, TN. She was formerly employed at Burnsides Nursing Home for several years. All services will be private and burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery, rural Marshall, IL.
