Carl Dean Lindley, 78, of West Union, IL passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026. He was a carpenter. Carl was born October 7, 1947 at Amherst, Texas, the son of John Lindley and Lula Carpenter Lindley. Surviving are his children, Scott (Barbara) Lindley of Mt. Pulaski, IL, Todd Lindley of West Union, IL, Mitzi (Jeremy) Fiscus of Marshall, IL, Wendy (Kurtis) Hudson of Valparaiso, Indiana and Jessi Lindley of Seelyville, Indiana; nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren, his long time girlfriend Nikki Garner, and her son Logan Garner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Albert, Sandy and Mike and a grandchild Ruslan Syzdykov. Other than enjoying doodling, he enjoyed hunting, mushroom hunting and golfing. Services in honor of his life will be held at a later date.
