Carol L. Miller, 84, of Marshall, IL passed away 6:40 AM Saturday, June 13, 2026 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN. Carol was born July 22, 1941 at Casey, IL, the daughter of William Carr Kemper and Leona Louise Hensiek Kemper. On Nov. 23, 1960, she married Randall L. Miller and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2025. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sisters-in-law, Stefica Kemper, Pauline Miller and Hilda Miiler and her cat, Mister.e. Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Cindi (Tim) Miles of Marshall, IL and Lana (Jason) Manes of Crown Point, IN; grandchildren, Zach (Taylor) Manes, Josh Manes, Kaleb (Heather) Miles and Chelbi Miles; great grandchildren, Amelia Manes, Mazie Manes, Adelyn Hargis Ella MIles and Claire Miles; a brother, Ron Kemper of Crown Point, IN and a brother-in-law, Eli Miller of Marshall, IL.. She retired from Burnside Nursing Home after 30 years of service. She loved flower gardening, cooking, sewing, playing the piano, sitting on the front porch and truly loved her grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 20th at Pearce Funeral Home with Darrell Kuhn officiating. Visitation will be after 12:00 noon Saturday. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery.
