Carole Beth Arney, 81, of Marshall, IL passed away at 6:33 AM Tuesday August 30 at Carriage Crossing in Paris, IL. She was born on April 14, 1941 in Terre Haute, IN to Lawrence and Mildred (Irwin) Lewis. She married Steve Arney on April 6, 1963 in Marshall, IL. She was a retired Office Manager from One on One Computer Training. She is survived by her husband Steve, Two Daughters Leslie (Usama) Fahmy of Zionsville, IN. and Alyssa Arney of San Fransisco, CA., Two Granddaughters Marina Fahmy and Allison Fahmy of Zionxville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Marilyn Jensen. Carole was a graduate of EIU with a Bachelors in Education, Member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, Marshall Main Street, First United Methodist Church Choir, Friends of the Library, was an avid Bridge Player, loved to travel and was an avid collector. Funeral Services will be held at the Pearce Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon Saturday, with cremation following. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home.
