Carolyn S. Robinson, 75, of Marshall, IL passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016 at her home. She had formerly been employed at the Dulaney National Bank and was retired from the Marshall School District. She had and was currently involved with the family farm operation. Carolyn was born Jan. 18, 1941 at Marshall, IL, the daughter of Hugar and Mary Louise Pine McConchie. She married Gerald Robinson in Aug. of 1960 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 2000. Surviving are two sons, Steven (Lesley) Robinson of Paris and Greg (Aimee) Robinson of Marshall; three grandsons, Jacob Robinson, Jeffrey Robinson and Randall Robinson; a brother, Harold (Candy) McConchie of New Port Richey, FL; a niece, Mindy McConchie and two nephews, Chad McConchie and Travis McConchie. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mike and Randy Robinson. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the Clark Co. Farm Bureau Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and had attended Indiana State University. Services in honor of her life will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Pearce Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Quick officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home and prior services at the funeral home on Sunday.
