Christopher Sean Diver 12/27/71 – 4/7/17 Our beloved Christopher Sean Diver, born 12/27/71, suddenly but peacefully departed this earth on Friday evening April 7, 2017 at the home of his parents. He was preceded in death by his father, David Ray Diver. He is survived by his mother and step father Amelia (Amy) and Charles Ladd, his two cherished daughters Danielle Michelle Klayer and Daelynn Alisha Diver, and his sister Alyson (Dan) Thompson. His passing is also mourned by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as special friend Wanda Rodriguez. Sean was blessed with good looks, a lovely smile, and a sensitive spirit. Like his father, he particularly loved deer and squirrel camp with his friends and family. He liked to have a good time, which he would acknowledge was at times to his detriment. On the other hand, he was not so quick to extol his many virtues. As a member of the Sheet Metals Workers Union Local 20, he was selected twice to represent the union in skilled competitions. His talent with a pen and pencil resulted in many pieces of artwork appreciated by both family and friends. He had a passion for excellence, was a craftsman skilled in many areas, and was able to construct almost anything. He loved music and would spend hours listening and contemplating its lyrics. Sean was not afraid to tackle difficult projects that required ingenuity and meticulous attention. But truly, his greatest attributes were his kindness, his sensitivity, and his genuinely compassionate spirit. He loved his family. Life is a mystery, and this is one of them. It has been said that grief is a love word. In that case, Sean is deeply, deeply loved. Visitation will be from 10-2 CST (Illinois) on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Zion United Methodist Church located at 20952 E. 1350 RD, Marshall, IL. Services will immediately follow at the church. Interment will be at Zion Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch in MIssouri or Lighthouse Mission in Terre Haute, IN.
