Dale D. Finkbiner, 65, of Marshall, IL passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015.

He was born June 9, 1950 at Terre Haute, IN, the son of Frederick Dean and Helen Cooper Finkbiner. Dale is survived by his wife, Carmen; a daughter Summer (Jesse) Murphy; grandson Sawyer Murphy; his mother, Helen; a brother, David (Brenda) Finkbiner; nephew, Christopher; nieces Ashleigh and Alishia and their respective families. He was preceded in death by his father and several aunts and uncles.

He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church and served this nation in the United State Marine Corps. An avid baseball fan, he enjoyed rooting for the New York Yankees. In his spare time he enjoyed sports, attending concerts and spending time with his family. He was a 1968 graduate of Marshall High School.

Services in honor of his life will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Melly Momo officiating. Burial with military graveside rites will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday and 12 Noon until service time at the church. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the VA House with envelopes available at the church.
