Darrell Ray Titus, 43, of Bay City, Texas, formerly of Marshall, IL passed away 11:28 PM Thursday at his home with his wife by his side. Darrell was born June 13, 1974 at Jerseyville, IL, the son of Barney Titus and Debra Wilson Titus. On April 17, 1993 he married Tina Marie Henry at Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel, IL Darrel served in the US Navy for 8 years. He was an electronics technician aboard the USS Toledo SSN769 at Groton Naval Base in Groton, CT. After his service he was employed as a Senior Reactor Operator with Exelon Nuclear Generating in Morris, IL, an Operator at sgSolutions in Terre Haute, IN and a Senior Reactor Operator Trainee at South Texas Project Nuclear Power Station. He coached both boys in baseball and enjoyed watching them play football. Darrell also coached his daughters t-ball team but she soon found out she meant to be a dancer. He supported his wife in all she did as much as she supported him. Darrell had a passion for off-roading in his Jeep. He as a member of the Two Rivers Jeep Club in Pittsfield, IL where he volunteered making ne trials and helping at events. Surviving are his wife, Tina; their three children, Clay, Jacob and Molly Titus; his father, Barney Titus; his mother, Debra (Steve) Springman; three brothers, Joel (Terri) Rhoads, Ben (Natalie) Titus and Brandon Titus and a grandmother, Amelia Burger. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Costello; grandparents, Donald Wilson, Harry Titus and Lenora Titus and a step grandmother, Mary Jane Wilson. Services in honor of his life will be 2:00 PM Sat. at the Marshall Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by Clark Co. Post #90 of the American Legion and VFW Post #5975. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday and after 12 Noon on Saturday at the church. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Darrell R.
