Dennis M. Jones, Sr. of Ladue, MO passed away Sept. 20, 2016 at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn & Thelma Jones; two brothers, Robert Jones and Max Jones and a sister, Kathy Cressy.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith Pearce Jones, a daughter, Denise (Drew) Franz; a son, Dennis Matthew (Chrissie) Jones Jr., grandchildren, Dennis Matthew (Samantha) Jones III, Natalie Franz and Madeline Franz; a great grandson, Dennis Matthew Jones IV and a brother, Sam (Angela) Jones. Dennis graduated from Marshall High School in 1956 and enlisted in the United State Marine Corps in 1957.

Dennis founded Jones Pharma, Inc. of St. Louis, MO in 1981. He was a generous philanthropist to many organizations, such as, Connections to Success, Focus Marines Foundation, Forest Park Forever, Junior Achievement, Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Our Lady’s Inn, Ranken Technical College, Saint Louis Zoo, Variety the Children’s Charity and many other deserving charities.

The family will receive visitors at home Sunday, Sept. 25th from 4-7 PM. A Celebration of Dennis Jones’ Life will be Monday, Sept. 26th at 11:00 AM at The Gathering, 2105 McCausland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63143. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice
