Donna Jean Henderson, 85, of Marshall, IL passed away 12:30 AM Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at the Burnsides Community Care Center at Marshall.

She was retired from Bemis Company of Terre Haute, IN. Donna was born August 28, 1930 at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Herman and Marguerite Thompson Haenig. She married Denzil G. Henderson on Sept. 29, 1954 at Casey, IL and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2004.

Surviving are sons, Steven (Darlene) Tingley of Marshall, IL, Michael Wayne (Carole) Henderson of Marshall, IL and Myron Sherman Henderson of Rineyville, KY; a step-son, Gary (Alice) Henderson of Paris, IL; grandchildren, Chad Tingley, Michael (Andito) Sherrill, Jason (Brandi) Henderson and Brian (Megan) Henderson; great grandchildren, Tabitha Tingley, Josephine Sherrill, Brady Henderson, Paige Henderson, Alyssa Henderson, Clara Henderson and Miles Henderson; a great great grandchild Bryson Steven Tingley; a brother, Russell (Karen) Haenig of Marshall, IL; three nieces and two great nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Sandy Henderson and a step-son, Dennis Henderson.

She was the previous owner and operator of Henderson Bait Shop in Marshall and was a member of Teamsters Local #144 Retirees Club. She enjoyed watching television, especially sports and she was an avid Dale Earnhardt Jr., fan.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. Private family graveside services will be held at the Marshall Cemetery.
