Dorothy Jeanette Burton Harrold, 90, of Terre Haute passed away 1:35 AM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute.

She was formerly the owner of Harrold’s Beauty Academy in Terre Haute. Dorothy was born Sept. 7, 1925 at Petersburg, IN, the daughter of John Franklin and Etta Mills Burton.

Surviving are a son, Stephen C. (Peggy) Harrold of West Terre Haute; a daughter-in-law, Patty Harrold of Terre Haute; two grandchildren, Alex Harrold and Cliff Harrold and a sister, Maxine June Burton. She was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Harrold; a sister, Marge Corzine and a brother, Robert Burton.

She was a member of the former Maplewood Christian Church and a founding member of the Wabash Valley Sewing Connection.
