Thelma E. Barkley, 84, of Marshall, IL passed away 1:28 AM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the Burnsides Community Care Center at Marshall. v

She retired after 39 years of service from TRW of Marshall. Thelma was born Dec. 18, 1930 at Isabell, IL, the daughter of Everett and Louvary Usery Petty. She married George Thomas Barkley on Dec. 18, 1957 at Marshall, IL.

Surviving are her husband, Tom; a daughter, Tammy (David) Wilguess of Dennison, IL; two grandsons, Brian Wilguess and Aaron Wilguess and four sisters, Norma Sudduth of Paris, IL, Viola Young of Chrisman, IL, Florence Witsman of Danville, IL and Lola Logan of Michigan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Bob Petty, Jim Petty, Harold Eugene Petty, Larry Wayne Petty and Junior Attkison.

She was a member of the Marshall Church of Christ and attended the Wesleyan Church of Marshall.

Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Burress officiating. Burial will be in the Livingston Cemetery.
