Douglas Glen Duzan, 75, of Marshall, IL passed away 3:35 AM Friday, August 15, 2025 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN. He was born August 29, 1949 at Tuscola, IL, the son of Glen Ayrel Duzan and Nancy M. Coon Duzan. On May 2, 1970 he married Donna F. Hawker at the Zion United Methodist Church, rural Marshall, IL and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jonathan D. Duzan and his companion, Heather McGinnis of Grandview, IL and J. Thomas Duzan of Marshall, IL; a sister, Kathy Carmichael of Ft. Meyers, FL; a brother, Rick Duzan and his wife Jan of Sebring, FL and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Doug served this country in the United States Army and was a member of Clark County Post #90 where he had served as Adjutant. He was a member of the Clark Co. Post #90 and VFW Post #5975 military graveside rites team and had helped with over 300 graveside military rites services during his time of membership. Doug was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church and during his working career was always involved in some form of sales and had helped with the advertising in the Marshall Advocate. He volunteered his time taking pictures at most Marshall sporting events for several years and had also photographed many other activities of the school and various community events. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Wednesday at Pearce Funeral Home. A service in honor of his life will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Irwin officiating with military rites immediately following.
