Doyle E. Saiter, 77, of Marshall, IL , formerly of Martinsville, IL, passed away 8:45 AM Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.

He was formerly employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co. and was retired from All Steel. Doyle was born April 2, 1938 at Terre Haute, IN, the son of John Saiter and Irene Cork Saiter.

Surviving are a daughter, Lynn R. Saiter of Marshall, IL; two step daughters, Lisa Wilborn and Lori Wilborn; grandchildren, David Thomas, Amy Merrill, Colten King and Casey Wilborn and several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nila Newkirk.

He served this nation as a medic in the US Army and was a member of VFW Post #5975 and Clark Co. Post #90 of the American Legion. He was a member of Plano Masonic Lodge #768 and was a graduate of Martinsville High School.

Masonic services will be conducted in his honor at 10:30 AM Saturday by Marshall Lodge #133 AF & AM at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post #5975 and Clark Co. Post #90 of the American Legion. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
