Rose Bright, 87, of Martinsville, IL, formerly of Marshall, IL passed away 3:10 AM Monday, October 27, 2014 in the Casey Health Care Center at Casey, IL.

She was retired from GTE having worked at Paris and Olney, Illinois. She was born June 14, 1927 at Marshall, IL, the daughter of John Heatherly and Mabel Beabout Heatherly. She was married to Bruce Bright who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2013.

Surviving are a nephew, Glen (Violet) Heatherly of Martinsville, IL; a niece, Debra (Howard) Oransky of Marshall, IL; several great and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Carroll Heatherly and a sister, Margaret Murphy.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Marshall.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Marshall Cemetery with Bro. John Cutshall officiating. There will be no visitation. Pearce Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
