Gene Gayle Shonk, 49, of Hume, IL, formerly of Marshall, IL passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at her home. She was employed at Wild Willy's at Hume. She was born May 19, 1962 in Honolulu, Hiwaii, the daughter of Richard and Kay Kirchner Williams. surviving are a daughter, Natalie Shonk of Mattoon, IL; her parents of Marshall; a brohter, Kevin (Anissa) Williams of Marshall, IL; a sister, Pam (Kevin) Sullivan of Darien, IL; grandmother, Mildred Medsker of Marshall, IL; companion, Allan gossett of Hume, IL; several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She attended Easter Illinois University and later received a degree in accounting at Ivy Tech. she loved to play pool.
