Glenn Olen Jones, 66, of Marshall, IL passed away early Saturday, May 23, 2015 at his home.

He had formerly been employed at the Velsicol Chemical Plant and Doric in Marshall, Syngenta at Paris and Shenango at Terre Haute, IN. Glenn was born Dec. 11, 1948 at Terre Haute, IN, the son of Olen Glee and Rosella Wyrick Jones. He married Christine Gamm on July 6, 1968 at Marshall, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Christine; a son, Tim (Buffy) Jones of Marshall, IL; a daughter, Denise (Dan) Duniphan of Casey, IL; six grandchildren, Cody Jones, Heather Jones, Ryan Jones, Kylee Rhoden, Allison Rhoden and Marla Rhoden; great grandchildren, Grayson O. Jones, Kristin Jones and Hunter Jones; step grandchildren, Jonathan Duniphan and Danny Duniphan Jr. and a sister, Roberta (Don) Litherland of Elkhart, IN. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Layle Jones and three children, Deanna Sue Jones, Kelly Lynn Jones, Kory Lee Jones.

Active in Masonry, Glenn was a member of Marshall Lodge #133 AF & AM, Scottish Rite of Danville, Zorah Shrine Temple at Terre Haute, IN, Ainad Shrine Temple of East St. Louis, IL, York Rite, Royal Arch Chapter, Paris Council of Cryptic Masons, Palestine Commandry, and Mount Vernon Preceptory of Yeoman of York. He was awarded the York Rite Cross of Honor and the Order of the Purple Cross. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and had assisted with the 4-H Barbeque for many years.

Services in honor of his life will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Pearce Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Morecraft officiating. Burial will be in the Livingston Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday with Masonic Services at 7:45 PM. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Crippled Children.
