Harold Dean Kendall, 74, of Martinsville, IL passed away 3:13 AM Friday, March 20, 2020. In the Casey Health Care Center at Casey, IL. Dean was a welder by trade and worked for Conrail railroad for a number of years and after leaving Conrail he worked as a free-lance welder on rigs and ranches in Nebraska and Oklahoma. He relocated back to Illinois in 2010 to be closer to family where he continued to enjoy hunting and fishing and retirement adventures with his partner in crime, his cherished , loyal companion, his dog Twister. He was born at Marshall, IL, the son of Glen W. and Virginia Tingley Kendall who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Robert. Surviving are a daughter, who was by his side when he passed, Deana Wilson of Beecher, IL; a son, Cody White of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Tyler K. Wilson, Abigail S. Wilson and Ruger White; his siblings Carroll Kendall, Austin Kendall, Andrea Roberts all of Marshall, Debbie Wetzel of Edgewater, FL and Lisa Kendall of Van, TX and several nieces and nephews. Dean loved hunting, fishing, camping and any and all things outdoors. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh while enjoying a cold beer. Arrangements are pending at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall.
