Harry Waight, age 83, passed away on August 10, 2016 in Birmingham, AL.

He was born on April 1, 1933 in Garden City, Kansas to Arthur B. and Elma (Stack) Waight. He married Fern Blockinger on April 2, 1954.

He was retired from NAFC as an Engineer.

Harry is survived by his wife, Fern; two daughters, Katrina Braswell of Marshall, IL. and Lisa Boswell of Marshall, IL.; one son John Waight of Birmingham, AL., one granddaughter Courtney Sanders, one grandson Jarrod Farris, and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Josh Braswell and Dylan Wymer.

He was an avid hobbyist, builder of radio controlled boats, planes, trucks, and cars. He was also an avid Alabama Football fan.

Memorial services will be held at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall, IL at 11:00 AM Saturday October 15, 2016 with Pastor Tim Duke officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery.
