Imogene Delp, 87, of Marshall, IL passed away 8:12 AM Friday, Oct. 10, 2019 in the Gibson Family Center For Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN. She was retired from TRW and following her retirement, she and her son delivered papers in the Dennison area for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star for many years. She was born Feb. 29, 1932 at Paris. IL, the daughter of George and Ruby Goodwin Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Delp on July 22, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, May Birchfield; a brother, Wilbur Taylor; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Delp and a grandson, Tony Delp. Surviving are sons, Ron Delp, Mike (Mindy) Delp and Bryan (Amy) Delp all of Marshall, Don (Diane) Delp of Hawkinsville, GA and Rex Delp of Old York, IL; grandchildren, Evan, Ethan, Mallory, Justin, Autumn, Tim, Nathan and Matt; several great grandchildren; two brothers, George Taylor of Marshall and James (Vala) Taylor of Martinsville, IL; a sister, Linda (Charlie) Murphy of Marshall and several nieces and nephews. Imogene was a member of the Blue Grass Church Of God, the TRW Girls and the VFW Auxiliary. Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Pearce Funeral Home with Larry Hollensbe officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.
