Our beloved Jack Theodore Bryant passed from this life to his eternal reward on Monday, March 18, 2024. He was a faithful servant of Christ, a steadfast husband, a kind father, an enthusiastic grandfather, and a genuine, listening friend. Jack was born in Columbia City, Indiana, on June 27, 1962, to Rev. Sidney and Doris Bryant. Throughout his childhood, they were involved in ministry in various locations and capacities. His family started attending the Warsaw United Pentecostal Church, and it was there that he met his forever girlfriend, Sheri. They were inseparable-best friends-from age 9. He graduated in 1982 from Warsaw Community High School. On July 2, 1983, he married Sheri Lynn Lackey, and they shared a noteworthy and beautiful bond throughout their 40 years of marriage. Together, they had three sons: Rev. Tyler (Brittanie) Bryant of Marshall, IL; Jeff (Laine) Bryant of Warsaw, Indiana; and Aaron (Brittany) Bryant of Marshall, IL. Jack was Papaw to four adoring grandchildren: Ezekiel, Hudson, Evelyn, and Ivy Kate. He especially loved to travel with Sheri and enjoyed some of his last moments earth-side enjoying the turquoise saltwater and ocean skyline in Florida. Jack also enjoyed yard work, learning, teaching his Sunday school class, and spending time with his family. Jack held a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University and worked for various companies throughout his career as an orthopedic and medical instrumentation designer. His gifts for detail, consistency, and excellence touched every area of his life. As a measurable token of their devotion to their family, Jack and Sheri had relocated from Warsaw, Indiana. In the last few years to spend their nearing retirement with their sweet grandchildren. They had already become loved members of the Pentecostals of Marshall. Jack was a conscientious and careful teacher of God’s Word. He taught the 4-6-year-old Sunday School class and was deeply loved by all his little students. Jack was especially gifted with children, and that remarkable trait was most adored by his grandchildren and all the children that his life impacted. He faithfully taught weekly Bible studies to friends and anyone who wanted to know more about the Bible. It was these gifts that made him special and irreplaceable to us-not his intellectual ability, his unwavering attention to detail, or his immensely strong work ethic, but rather the ineffable spirit of kindness he possessed. Jack’s life showed us all the extraordinary impact of the heart of a man who loved other very well. Our hears are already missing his earthly presence, but we do not “mourn as those which have no hope” (1 Thessalonians 4:13). Jack is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Sheri Lynn Bryant; son, Rev. Tyler M. (Brittanie) Bryant; son, Jeffrey N. (Laine) Bryant; a son, Aaron M. (Brittany) Bryant; four grandchildren, Ezekiel Bryant, Hudson Bryant, Evelyn Bryant (Aaron and Brittany), and Ivy Kate (Rev.
