Jackie Lee “Jack” Wallace, 93, of Marshall, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born April 3, 1932 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Virgil Wallace Sr. and Texie Marie Lash. He spent the majority
of his life in Clark County. From 1959 to 1992 he was married to Ella Marie Williams, who survives. Also surviving, are two sons, Jeff (Vickie Murphy) Wallace and Robert “Bob” Wallace, both of Marshall; granddaughters Amanda (Liz Watson) and Mariah (Sam) Brooks
of Indianapolis, Indiana; a grandson, Julian Brooks of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also surviving is a sister Edith Bierbaum of Ellsworth, Illinois; and brother Jerry (Glenna) Wallace of Marshall, Illinois. A special friend of many years, Jean Spittler of Marshall,
Illinois also survives. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Doris (Herbert) Bender, Betty (Frank) Tingley, Martha Ellen Wallace, and Jo Ann (Bishop) Radcliff; brother Virgil (Edith) Wallace, Jr. Jack served honorably in the US Army during the
Korean War. He was a 25-year employee of the former Midland Glass Company in Terre Haute, Indiana. After the closure of that facility, he worked at Walmart in Marshall as well as the local American Legion.
Graveside services will be performed at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 25 at Auburn Cemetery in Clark Center, Illinois. Military graveside rites will be provided by Clark Co. Post #90 of the American Legion and VFW Post #5975. At the request of the family, please
