Jane Diane Warner, 66, of Marshall, IL passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born May 31, 1957, the daughter of Harold Max and Helen Jane Willmann Wernz. Some of her fondest memories growing up was time spent at the family farm, from helping in the fields to riding their horses. Jane was a 1975 graduate of Marshall High School and member of Grace Lutheran Church of Paris, IL. After that first time being asked to take a motorcycle ride with him she later married Earl Clyde Warner on May 4, 1979 at the Marshall First Christian Church. She loved being a homemaker, sewing, gardening, canning, crafting, just living a simple life in the country while raising their two daughters. Jane worked at Wal-Mart for 24 years before retiring but continued driving the school bus for a total of 36 years, transporting generations of Marshall families on her route. She truly cared for all those children and those precious little moments shared, brought so much joy to her heart! After retirement she was able to enjoy time with her sister, spending time at home with her animals and visits from family were her favorite. She had such a kind and gentle spirit and was never without a smile or uplifting word to share. Surviving are her daughters, Jessica (Shawn) Harvey and Jenny (Jacob) Gaines. grandchildren Jonathan (Bekka) Buckner, Shian Harvey and Trip Gaines; great grandchildren Everly and Oliver, her brother Jim (Sue) Wernz, sister Cartha Gustafson, sister-in-law Lisa (Mike) Lashbrook, brother-in-law Keith (Laura) Warner, sisters-in-law Tamie Warner and Carole Ann Warner as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father, father-in-law & mother-in-law Jack and Martha Warner, brother Carl Wernz, brother-in-law Richard Gustafson, brother-in-law Danny Warner and his twin brother Donny Warner.Services in honor of her life will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Smith officiating. Gravesite burial will be in Ohio Cemetery, rural West Union, immediately following. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Pearce Funeral Home.
