Jean Pruiett, 87, of Marshall, IL passed away 5:45 AM Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at her home.

She was born July 11, 1928 at Garland, IL, the daughter of Jesse and Delphia Warmoth Scott. She married Delbert Pruiett Nov. 17, 1945 and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1983. Surviving are a son, Mike (Linda) Pruiett of Marshall; two daughters, Joyce (Burney) Wilkie of Aurora and Patty (John) Garner of Marshall; two sisters, Beverly Whitkanack of Paris and Evelyn Horsley of Marshall; a brother, Ronnie Scott of Colorado; 23 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Robert "Bob" Pruiett, Randy Pruiett and Douglas "Doug" Pruiett; seven sisters, Lucille Craft, Kathryn "Kate" Ludington, Lena Jewell, Beulah Fuller, Thelma Simons, Betty Whitkanack and Mary Sanders; three brothers, Vivian "Bud" Scott, Virgil Scott and Dean Scott.

She was a member of the Marshall Wesleyan Church.

Services in honor of her life will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Pearce Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Burress officiating. Burial will be in Marshall Cemetery. Visitation after 12 Noon Thursday.
