Jeffrey M. Gosnell went to his eternal home on September 6, 2021 surrounded by the one’s he loved most. Jeff was born on Aug. 14, 1956 to Chuck (Jean) Farris and Lois Caorrine (Verble) White who both preceded him in death. He married the love of his life, Kathy, on March 31, 1979. Jeff has five children, Jason (Wendi) Gosnell, Jeremy (Thashia) Gosnell, Nicole (Jerry) Hightshoe, Leslie (Matt) Cramer and Valerie (Eddy) Foster. He also has seventeen grandchildren; Maddie, Kaiden, Elijah, Zander, Skylor, Paige, Baylee, Boston, Emma, Chloe, Colton, River, Layne, Corbin, Nathan, Kelsey and Harleigh. Jeff had several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins that all had a special place in his heart. Jeff was a man of faith and a member of the Clarksville Baptist Church. Recently he became a leader for Celebrate Recovery. He had a true passion for hot rods. His gift came natural and he loved to use it. Out of all things Jeff had done in his life, his family is what made him the most proud. Jeff and Kathy extended their love for children and fostered several children. They also babysat for multiple families. Jeff will be remembered as a loving and gentle man who had a personality out of this world. Services in honor of his life will be 2:30 PM Thursday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Rex Goble officiating. Burial will be in the Dunlap Cemetery, rural Marshall, IL Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
