Joan Turner, 92, of Terre Haute, IN, formerly of Marshall, IL went to be with her Lord Nov. 22, 2022. She passed away at home with her daughter and her poodle, Ruby, at her side. Pearce Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. She was born July 2, 1930 as Joan Sweitzer to Sylvia Hellenbeck Sweitzer and Everett Sweitzer. She was raised by her grandmother and grandfather, Ora Fuller Sweitzer and David Sweitzer. She loved the Lord and got saved in the Evangelical United Brethren Church (now the Trinity United Methodist Church). She married the love of her life, Ralph E. Turner. They had two sons and one daughter. Ralph, Ronnie and Danny all preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Turner Anderson (Don); grandchildren, Billy Turner (Stephanie), Eric Turner (Tracey), Lori Kastigar (Jared, Jimmy Turner (Kylia) , Chad Turner (Kimberly), Scott Turner, Kelly Bird (Schnoegge), Cole Turner, Cody Turner and Kyle Turner; great grandchildren, Madison Lee (James), Hannah Turner, Jadyn Segriff (Damien, Jackson Turner, Keenan Turner, Grayson Turner, Mattie Duzan, Johnny Duzan, Grady Turner, Hunter Turner and Fisher Turner. She is survived by daughters-in-law, Sandy Taylor Turner, Annie Elliott Reeves, Roberta Turner and Sandy Turner. Per her wished, she chose no services, but wanted all to know and be comforted that she is with her Lord and Savior and family.
