John Nelson (Skeet) Cline, 85, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022 at 6:45 am MST at his home in Gilbert, AZ surrounded by his loved ones. John was born February 10, 1937 in Marshalltown, IA to Hobart Cline and Janet Donaldson Cline Kaley. He was preceeded in death by both his parents, brother Kenneth Cline and grandson Robbie Cline Parker. He was a graduate of Marshall High School then went on to join the US Air Force honorably discharging as a Staff Sgt. John loved old and classic cars and antiques. He is survived by his wife, 4 daughters, Sharie Cline and Jeanie Kelly (Kenny) of Casa Grande, AZ, Abi Cline (Jason) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Tina Jones (Bobbi) of St. Simons Island, GA and one son Kenny Cline of Terre Haute, IN, 7 grandchildren, Bethany Kile (Kevin), Ford City, PA, Justin Kile, Chicago, IL, Jordan Hargis (Tiffany) Marshall, IL, Nicholas Cline (Taylor) Brazil, IN, Athena Cline, Jayce and Rosen Cline-Hickman, Fernandina Beach, FL and 3 great grandchildren, Walker Heck, Wyatt and Weston Cline, Brazil, IN and 2 nieces Shannon and Misty Cline, Gainesville, FL and nephew David Cline, Atlanta, GA and his lifelong friend John Cox of Charleston, IL. His ashes were laid to rest at the National Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ with Air Force Honor Guard presentation.
