Judith A. Quick, 77, of Marshall, IL passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. She was a graduate of Eastern IL University and had taught in the public school system. Judy was born Oct. 3, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Maurice Craven and Irene Kaufman Craven. She married Fenton Quick on Aug. 7, 1960 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca (David) Green of Waseca, MN and John Quick of Woodland, IL; a brother, Clifford Stam of Watseka, IL; grandchildren, Christopher Pence of Marshall, Nathan Pence of Marshall, Amanda (Josh) Due of Charleston, IL, Chelsea (Andrew) Hanks of Waseca, MN, Natalie (Zac) Huntley of Blue Earth, MN, Molly (Shawn) Becker of Danville, IL and Taylor Quick of Woodland, IL; great grandchildren, Ashton Hanks and Cheyanna Pence. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Pence; a great granddaughter, Zoey Becker and her step father who was a part of her life for many years, Herbert Stam. Judy loved reading and working with her flowers and gardening. Services in honor of her life will be 2:30 PM Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with Bro. John Cutshall officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Public Library.
