Kathryn Ann Beard Litteral, 85, of Marshall, IL passed away 8:45 PM Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 in the Burnsides Community Care Center at Marshall.

She was born Oct. 3, 1929 at Robinson, IL, the daughter of Joseph Eugene Malloy and Virginia McClure Malloy. She was married to Harlan J. Litteral who preceded her in death on April 21, 2004.

Surviving are her children, David (Donna) Beard of Marshall, IL, Mark Beard of Marshall, IL, Katie Sutton of Marshall, IL and Ellen (Tony) Urbanski of Terre Haute, IN; step daughter, Kerri (Ron) Resech of Bloomingdale, IL; three grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Beard, Benjamin Beard and Joseph Beard; three step grandchildren, Chris Eitel, Zac (Molly) Eitel and Rachel Urbanski; great grandchildren, Jacob Beard, Rachel Beard and Jason Lindsay; step great grandchildren, Zoe Eitel, Sam Eitel and Lilah Eitel;a sister, Peggy Morris of Marshall, IL and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Beard and Steve Beard; a grandson, Jason Sutton and a sister, Patricia Kasemeyer.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Marshall, the VFW Auxiliary of Marshall and a graduate of Marshall High School. She enjoyed going to the VFW at Marshall and playing Whiskey Poker with her family.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshall with Rev. Mike Haag officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Marshall. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Marshall VFW.
