Kenneth B. Wilson, 86, of Dennison, IL passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 in Horizon Health at Paris, IL. He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenter’s Local #133. He had also farmed and had been a truck driver. Kenny was born Aug. 12, 1932 in rural Clark Co., IL, the son of Loren A. Wilson and Frieda B. Burkhead Wilson. On July 10, 1952 he married Gertrude Stickler at Ft. Collins, CO. Surviving are his wife, Gertrude; children, Trudy (Jerry) Arrasmith of Paris, IL, Karen (Mike) Hutchens of Martinsville, IL, Diane (Terry) O’Neal of Pampa, TX, Dale Wilson and companion, Michelle Grable of Paris, IL, Keith (Vonda) Wilson of Elbridge, IL, Brad Wilson of Dennison, IL and Mike (Jami) Wilson of Marshall, IL; a brother, Richard (Sheila) Wilson of Oakland, IL; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Lee Wilson; a brother, Arnold Wilson and two sisters, Juanita Stone and Wilma Stone. He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and a former member of the Twilight Riders Saddle Club. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Services in honor of his life will be 10:00 AM Friday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastors Bill and Tim Duke officiating. Burial will be in the Forsythe Cemetery.
