Lettie Grace Dicus, 92, of Perrysville, IN, formerly of Marshall, IL passed away 11:05 AM Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 in Meadows Manor North at Terre Haute, IN.

She had formerly been employed at Wadley's, Campbell Soup and TRW. Lettie was born Feb. 21, 1923 in Crossville, IL, the daughter of Bennie Sturm and Annie Gwaltney Sturm. She married Marvin Lee Dicus on June 19, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2004.

Surviving are a son, William Dale (Laurie) Dicus of Perrysville, IN; a daughter Anna Lea (Charles) Brenton of Santa Fe, NM; four grandchildren, Steven Lee (Lori) Brenton of Ocala, FL, Candy Lynn Brenton of Santa Fe, NM, Derrick (Sarah) Dicus of Monroe, NC and Derrin Lee (Andrea) Dicus of Chapel Hill, NC; six great grandchildren, Amanda Jean Bayles, Rebecca Lynn Brenton Dalton Dicus, Austen Dicus, Katie Dicus and Kaylee Dicus. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, David Nathan Brenton; a sister, Mary Maurer and two brothers, Robert Sturm and Harold Sturm.

She was a wonderful cook, loved gardening and taking care of her flowers. She loved being around her grandchildren and babysitting.

Services in honor of her life will be 1:30 PM CST Monday at Pearce Funeral Home, 314 S. 6th St., Marshall, IL. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery, rural Marshall.
