Linda S. McConchie, 69, of Marshall, IL passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 in Regional Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. She was born Nov. 4, 1956 at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Paul and Norma Jean Lintz Hoopingrner Sr. She married Max McConchie on Sept. 4, 1984 at the Asbury United Methodist Church, rural Marshall, and he preceded her in death of Feb. 20, 2021. Surviving are a daughter, Wanda (Hayden) Hogan; a grandchild, Gracie Whitezel; a brother, Paul (Dee) Hoopinger,three sisters, Norma Black, Marjorie (Bill) Kelley and Phyllis (Edward) Wilhoit and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Hoopingarner.. Linda was a 1975 graduate of Marshall High School and had formerly been employed by Charles Industries of Marshall. She enjoyed working with flowers and watching TV and movies. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 1:30 PM Wednesday, Feb. 18th at Pearce Funeral Home with services in honor of her life at 1:30 PM with Pastor Tim Duke officiating.
