Lindy M. Fisher, 87, of Marshall, IL passed away 4:33 AM Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 in the Paris Health Care Center at Paris, IL.

He was a retired commercial truck driver.

He was born July 1, 1929 in Corning, Arkansas, the son of William and Mabel Byrd Fisher.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Regan Fisher; children, Jerry, Gary, Pat, Brenda, Donna, Sophia and Rachel; several grand and great grandchildren and many brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by a son, Luke.

He served this nation during the Korean War and served in both the US Army and Marines.

Lindy was a member of the West Union Masonic Lodge and VFW Post #5975 of Marshall.

Private graveside services will be held in the Danville National Cemetery and Masonic Services will be held at Pearce Funeral Home prior to procession to the cemetery. Online condolences are being accepted at pearcefuneralservices.com.
