Marvin Michael Melvin, 64, of Paris, IL passed away Monday Dec. 29, 2014 in the Carle foundation Hospital at Urbana, IL.
He was a retired painting contractor and served this nation in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. He was born May 28, 1950 at Cincinnati, OH, the son of Daniel E. Melvin and Marilyn M. Yeazel Melvin.
Surviving are a son, Travis Melvin of Paris, IL; two sisters, Sharon Russell of Marshall, IL and Cindy L. Miller of Indiana; a brother, Daniel Melvin Jr. of MN and a �_ sister and a half sister, Melody Kelley. He was preceded in death by one bother and one sister. He was retired from the Painters Union after 30 years of service.
All services will be private.
