Mary E.. Harper, 89, of Marshall, IL passed away during her sleep on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at her home. She was born Aug. 28, 1922 at Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Avery J. Harries and Anna K. Simpson Harris. She married Ben Harper and he preceded her in death on April 1, 2000. Surviving are a son, Steven K. Harper of Marshall, IL and a sister, Laura Anderson of Stewart, FL. Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Friday at Marshall Cemetery with Rev. David Deal officiating. There will be no visitation
