Mary Frances Harper, 83, of Marshall, IL passed away 12:20 AM Monday, August 1, 2016 in Paris Healthcare Center at Paris, IL.

She was a loyal and dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church of Marshall.

Mary Frances was born Feb. 17, 1933 in rural Dennison, IL, the daughter of James and Grace Pine Snedeker. She married Daniel L. Harper on June 10, 1951 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1997.

Surviving are her children; James (Jan) Harper of Brownsburg, IN, Dan A. (Deb) Harper of Marshall and Jenny Higginbotham of Marshall; grandchildren, Mandy (Jason) Stafford, Malerie (Alex) Mason, Brianna (Jarod) Collins, Whitney (Jon) Bokmeyer and Chelsea Higginbotham and her great grandchildren, Kalli Stafford, Lexi Mason, Kaz Collins, Kai Collins, Ryder Collins, Graham Bokmeyer and Emma Bokmeyer. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Pantle and Mildred Snedeker.

Services in honor of her life will be 10:30 AM Friday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Lewis and Bro. J.K. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Dunlap Cemetery, rural Dennison. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday at Pearce Funeral Home and also after 9:30 AM Friday at the church.
