Nadine Weir, a cherished member of the Clark County community, passed away peacefully at Marshall Rehab and Nursing on August 28, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on June 22, 1936, in Clark County, Illinois, Nadine was the beloved daughter of Clyde and Mary (Kurts) Brosman. Her life was a testament to love, dedication, and service to family, friends, and community. Nadine was the loving wife of the late Leon Weir, whom she married on November 9, 1955. Together, they built a beautiful life, sharing 52 years of marriage until Leon’s passing on March 8, 2008. As an Army wife, Nadine supported Leon’s military career from 1955 to 1975, embodying strength and resilience while raising a family. Nadine was a proud graduate of Martinsville High School. She was a devoted member of the Martinsville First Christian Church, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. Her commitment to service extended to her membership in the Ladies American Legion and the Clark County Farm Bureau. Nadine had a passion for reading and found joy in solving word puzzles, pursuits that showcased her love for learning. Her gentle spirit and warm smile were a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew her. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Terry (Silvia) Weir and Jim Weir; her granddaughter, Nicole (Mary) Hallerman; her grandsons, Lucas (Jessica) Weir and Nathan Weir; and her great granddaughters, Nora Hallerman, Tymber, and Clover Weir. Nadine also leaves behind many Nieces and Nephews. Nadine is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mary Brosman; Her husband Leon Weir; her sister, Wilma Garner; her grandson Travis Weir; her Great granddaughter, Willow Weir. Their memories remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know them. Private family Graveside services will be held at Mt Pleasant cemetery. In honor of Nadine’s life and her commitment to her faith community, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Martinsville First Christian Church.
