Naomi A. Dressler, 86, of Marshall, IL passed away 6:45 AM Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in the Burnsides Community Health Center at Marshall.
She was born Dec. 17, 1928 at Marshall, IL, the daughter of Otto and Emma Kirby Welsh. She was first married to George Renner who preceded her in death in 1989. She later married Albert Dressler who preceded her in death in 2000. In addition to her two husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Ann Renner; a brother, Franklin Walsh; an infant sister; a nephew, Doit Walsh; a niece, Marjorie White and a step son, George Euriga.
Surviving are four step children, Pat Euriga, Darrell Dressler and Mark Dressler; nieces and nephews, Lisa Hendrix, Jerry White, Karen English, Ryan White, Megan Richey and Renee Green and a cousin, Barbara Wilson; step grandchildren, Kayte Macke, Patrick Euriga, Crystal Payne, Tristan Dressler, Tim Dressler, Myah Dressler, Kelly Dressler, Megan Dressler, Courtney Dressler, Hillary Dressler and Miranda Dressler.
Naomi was a member of the Marshall VFW Auxiliary, Clark Co. Post #90 American Legion Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society and the Marshall Women's Club.
Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Friday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Tawnya Fairchild officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Thursday and after 7:00 AM Friday at the funeral home with a VFW Memorial Service being held during visitation. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Cemetery Association.
