Norma Jean Kendall, 75, of West Union, IL passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021 in Symphony at Valley Farms at Louisville, KY. She was born Sept. 25, 1946 at Greenup, IL, the daughter of Alvin and Myrtle Mae Ghast Hawes. She married Donald R. Kendall and he passed away April 23, 2018. Norma was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Terri Ogle of Martinsville, IL, Donnie (Jacquita) Kendall of West Union, IL, Andy (Melissa) Kendall of Marshall, IL, Carrie Kendall and her companion, Nicholas Preisler of Mt. Washington, KY, Rebecca Kendall of Louisville, KY and Doug Kendall of West Union, IL; grandchildren, Shane Hummer, Benjamin Elliott, Drew Kendall, Adam Kendall, Kyle Kendall, Nicole Wycoff, Cassie Kendall, Collin Batson and Landen Lawrence; great grandchildren, Loren Hummer, Lyla Grace Samuels, Odin Wayne Kendall, Pailyn Dawn Kendall, Andrew Wayne Glasscock II, Walker Lee Kendall and Maximus Douglas Kendall and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Kendall and William Wayne Kendall and nine. She loved all animals, especially her dogs, and bowled for several years and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. She was a graduate of Cumberland High School and was also a member of the Marshall VFW Axiliary. Services in honor of her life will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Duke officiating. Burial will be in the Ohio Cemetery, rural West Union, IL.
