Norman E. Tingley, age 64, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 3:40 AM Friday September 30, 2016 form injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born on August 10, 1952 in Martinsville, IL to Rueben and Vera (Shafer) Tingley. He married Nancy Wilson on March 17th, 2015 in Ellington Florida. He is survived by his wife Nancy of Martinsville, IL, Mother Vera Tingley of Marshall, IL., one son Adam (Emily) Tingley of Terre Haute, IN., Two daughters Amy (Brad) Highsmith of Bloomington, IN., Alison (JR) Armstrong of La Prairie, IL., Nine Grand children Mack and Kimber Tingley; Taylor, Aubrey, Hutton,and Oliver Highsmith; Taylor, Mitch, and Levi Armstong. Three Nephews and several Cousins. He was preceded by his father Rueben Tingley and brother Gary Tingley. He was a member of Operators Union Local #841, Clark County Post #90 of American Legion, Farmers Union.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday October 5, 2016 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with Bro. Billie Ray Ulrey Officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery with Military Graveside rites By Clark County Post #90 of the American Legion and VFW Post #5975. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 7:00 AM until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
