Rachelle Boatright, A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born on April 4, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, to her loving parents, Ford and Phyllis Boatright. Rachelle's family and friends will forever remember her for her deep love, infectious sense of humor, and her ability to make everyone around her smile. She had a gift for laughter, always brightening any room she walked into with her quick wit and warm personality. Rachelle’s life was filled with countless memories shared with her loved ones, and her legacy of joy will remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Rachelle is survived by her siblings, Steve Boatright, Johanna Ray, and Jeff Boatright, each of whom shared a strong bond with her and will miss her dearly. As a devoted aunt, Rachelle was an important part of the lives of her nephews Josey Boatright and Cole Boatright and her nieces : Amy Riffle, Payton Walters, Destiny Flowers, Jaidlynn Flowers (whom she affectionately called "Peewee"), and Elexcia Flowers. Her nieces and nephews will carry the special moments and love she showed them throughout their lives, cherishing the memories of laughter and affection that came with being a part of her world. Among Rachelle's many passions were cooking, baking, and spending time outdoors. She had a particular talent for baking, often filling her home with the delicious scents of freshly made treats. Rachelle enjoyed exploring nature, taking time to go and just sit outside. Her love for dogs was also well-known as she once had an impressive number of dogs living with her, who brought her immense joy. Her creative hobbies, such as painting her nails and perfecting her makeup, and she was a proud fan of country music, always filling her home with the tunes from Bret Eldridge. Rachelle’s impact on the lives of those around her cannot be overstated. She was a nurturing and loving person, always willing to lend a hand or offer a kind word. Her lighthearted spirit, infectious laugh, and big heart made her a cherished member of her family and community. As a celebration Rachelle's family asks that all who knew her come to honor the legacy she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter in her memory, as Rachelle had a deep love for animals and their well-being. Rest in peace, Rachelle. You will forever be in our hearts, and your memory will continue to bring joy to all who were blessed to know you.
