He was the owner of his own salvage business. Proud owner and operator of his own trucking business where he traveled all over the United States. He retired as a teamster out of local #135. Ralph was born June 22, 1937 at Newman, IL, the son of Bill and Zada Elmrick. He married Rebecca Best on August 31, 1973. Surviving are his wife Rebecca; children, Patty Goldsberry, Deena Goldsberry, Renee (Rob) Hughes, James (Renee) Goldsberry and Jesse (Tiffany) Goldsberry; siblings, Mary Rowley and James O. Goldsberry; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son Ralph Jr. on Nov. 15, 1999; a daughter, Terrie on Aug. 3, 2018 and two siblings, Ephraim and Fred. He was a member of the New Rivers Church of Marshall. Ralph enjoyed watching westerns. He had a great love for driving semi’s and dirt track racing. He served his country in the United State Marine Corps from July of 1954 to August of 1957 as a combat engineer. Services in honor of his life will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Livingston Cemetery with military graveside rites. Visitation will be 12 Noon until service time Tuesday. Ralph E.
