Richard A. Glick, 86, of Marshall, IL passed away 12:40 AM Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.

He was a Clark Co, IL area farmer.

Dick was born March 22, 1929 at West Terre Haute, IN, the son of Willard and Ruth Glick. He married Laura Christinia Waldon on Feb. 9, 1950 at West Terre Haute and she preceded him in death on May 14, 2005.

Surviving are his three children; Michael Glick of Marshall, IL, Kimberly (Gregg) Petty of Shelburn, IN and Autumn ( Significant Other – Tim Seitz) Goekler of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer) Leigh of Marshall, Ashlee (Keith) Crouch of Marshall, Shawna (Craig) Bradshaw of Cumming, GA and Josh (Fiancée – Shelly Vicars) Veach of Marshall; great grandchildren, Sara Leigh, Braelyn Crouch, Lawsen Crouch and Anderson Veach and a brother, Raymond (Madonna) Glick of West Terre Haute, IN. He was preceded in death by a brother, Phil Glick.

He served on the Board of Directors of Marshall Mutual Fire Insurance Co. for over 50 years and was currently serving as President of the board. He had been active in various agriculture organizations in years past and was a graduate of Concannon High School. He had also served in the US Army.

Services in honor of his life will be 1:30 PM Sunday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Irwin officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery with military graveside rites. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Saturday and prior services on Sunday.
