Richard A. Wright, 54, of Brazil, IN, formerly of Marshall passed away January 23, 2016 at his home.

He was formerly employed at Stark Industries of Terre Haute.

He was born Oct. 12, 1961 at Terre Haute, the son of John Wright and Jane Thompson Wright. Surviving are two sisters, Tavey Wright of Oak Lawn, IL and Virginia (Tom) Lowe of Terre Haute and a brother, David (Lisa) Wright of Buckeye, AZ; a sister-in-law, Theresa Wright of Marshall and several nieces, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Dennis Wright and two sisters, Connie Wright and Ellen Wright.

Dick was an avid outdoorsman loving to fish and hunt. He loved animals, was a member of the Marshall Gun Club and a 1981 graduate of Marshall High School. He was an avid reader and a loyal Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Cubs fan.

Services will be 1:30 PM Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home with Rev. Krista Price officiating. Burial will be private at the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Sat. at the funeral home.
