Rickie Eugene Fisher, age 73, was born on June 13, 1953 in Casey, IL to Ben Fisher Jr and Merle (Rogers) Fisher. After a hard fought battle with cancer he passed away at his home on October 15, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a sister-in-law, Maria Vetterhoffer. He is survived by his wife Juanita (Draper) Fisher, one daughter Molly (Luke) Volk of Annapolis, IL; One son Josh Davidson of Marshall, IL; Three Grandchildren Kimber Volk, Ada Volk and McCale (Bethany) Davidson, Three Great Grandchildren April, Ollie, and Travis, One Great -Great granddaughter Maxlee, and One Brother Ben Fisher of Rantoul, IL. Risk was handy with his mind and his hands. There was nothing he couldn’t do. He was a good man. He worked with so many Casey people that we can’t name them all. I’m sure he and Marshall Jackson are already discussing old times in heaven. He liked car racing and started with quarter midgets. We restored our own ’57 Chevy and enjoyed Rat Rods. We formed an oil Company, JR Cable Tools and a trucking company, JR Trucking. A favorite to do was sitting by a campfire with a beer and smoking pork butts. He was definitely a great cook. He will be missed by a lot of people. God rest his soul. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
