Ricky Lewis England, 55, of West Union, IL passed away 7:15 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at his home.

He was employed by the US Postal Service.

He was born Nov. 23, 1960 at New Albany, IN, the son of Elim Patterson and Betty McMahan England. He married Annette Mitchell on May 1, 1982 at New Albany. Surviving are his wife, Annette; his children, Brent England, Lindsey Gardner and Lauren England; a granddaughter, Madelyn Avery Gardner and his parents, Pat and Betty. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bryan Gardner and a brother, Allen Patterson England.

Rick was very instrumental in the formation of the Marshall are soccer program (M.A.S.K.) in Marshall and had formerly been an active leader of Boy Scout Troop #276 of Marshall. He was a great cook and loved to fish. Most importantly, he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son and friend to all he knew.

Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Sunday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
