Robert H. Breneman, 75. Of Marshall, IL passed away 12:28 AM Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 in the Roudebush VA Medical Center at Indianapolis, IN. He had formerly been employed in the Maintenance Department of Lincoln Trail State Park.

Bob was born Oct. 11, 1941 at Paris, IL, the son of Benjamin Harrison and Helen Dorothy Mason Breneman.

Surviving are his children, Robert (Cindy) Breneman of Lafayette, IN; three daughters, Tosha (Jodi) Davis, Nicki (Jeff) Reed and Mallory (Jeremy) Royer all of Marshall; grandchildren, Robert Breneman, Kurtis Breneman, Garrett Breneman , Emily Breneman, Logan Sanders, Cassie Sanders, Kaylyn Sanders, Max Reed, Molly Reed and Callie Royer; a brother, Larry R. (Charlotte) Breneman of Champaign, IL; his companion, Phyllis Higginbotham of Marshall; mother of his three daughters, Freda Breneman Drummond of Marshall; several nieces and nephews and several cousins and a special friend, Russ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin and a sister.

He served this nation in both the Army and Navy during the Viet Nam War and was a member of VFW Post #5975. He loved taking care of his farm animals and the outdoors.

Services in honor of his life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Harryman officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery, rural Edgar County, IL with military graveside rites. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday.
