Robin D. Davidson, 64, of Martinsville, IL passed away 8:30 PM Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN following a courageous battle of cancer. She was born Aug. 2, 1960 at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Robert Max Moore and Dena June McCollough Moore. On June 16, 1979 at the Martinsville Methodist Church, she married Herman Davidson and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Christopher A. “Rudy” Davidson and his wife Nikki and Ryne C. Davidson and his wife Dominique both of Martinsville; grandchildren, Courtney Davidson (Fiance`Lane Wilhoit), Juneilee Davidson, Austyn Davidson, Natalia Davidson, Arianna Davidson, Hayzlee Davidson and Rowen Davidson who is to be born in December; two brothers, Philip Moore and his wife Karen and Kerry Moore and his wife Cindy both of Greenup, IL and a sister, Rachel Vorstenbosch (boyfriend Michael Metzner) of Limestone, TN. Robin was employed at Coil Sales having worked in both Marshall and Casey. She was a big Luke Bryan fan, a loyal Chicago Cubs fan and loved NASCAR and the Indy 500. Her beloved cats,, who seemed at times more cherished than her boys were her world along with the chickens who roamed anywhere from the back hill to the couch in the living room. A woman who made sure everyone was fed well and fed their favorites, always yelling from the front porch about the latest in the freezer just before anyone left the drive. Visitation will be 12:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 21st at the Martinsville Bible Church with a service in honor of her life at 4:00 PM. Pastor Dave Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the Ridgelawn Cemetery at a later date. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.
