Rosabelle Walters, 93, of Marshall, IL passed away 3:30 AM Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 in the Burnsides Community Center at Marshall, IL.
She was active in the family farming operation.
She was born Nov. 22, 1922 in the Clarksville area of Clark Co., IL, the daughter of Ora and Viola Clapp Fox. She married Keith Walters on March 17, 1951 at Clarksville and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1995. Surviving is a daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" (Roger) Shotts of Marshall; a son, Phillip K. Walters of Paris; grandchildren, Kyley (Caleb) Reger of San Antonio, TX, Christy (Darrick) Wilson of Terre Haute, Jeremy (Kiley) Shotts of Marshall and Allen (Carrie) Walters of Marshall; great grandchildren, Caiden and Cash Reger, Maci Wilson, Lily Shotts, Lathan Shotts and Haley Walters. She was preceded in death by two sons, Brent Walters and Kent Lee Walters and two brothers, Lester and Raymond Fox.
She was a member of the Clarksville Baptist Church and the Viola Circle of the church. She was a charter member of Clark Co. Home Extension, member of Clark Co. Farm Bureau, volunteered at the Marshall Food and Clothing Bank and was a 1940 graduate of Marshall High School.
Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Friday at the Clarksville Baptist Church with Bros. Travis Wilson and Jeff Loper officiating. Burial will be in the Clarksville Cemetery.
